Accounts Payable Officer


About the role – Maximum Term Full Time Contract for 12 Months

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, you’ll ensure invoices, payments and reimbursements are processed accurately and on time, while providing responsive, professional support to internal and external stakeholders. This role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to continuous process improvement, month-end activities and audit preparation all while building strong relationships across the organisation.

About you:

You’re a detail focused Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working in a collaborative team and takes pride in getting things right. Organised and reliable, you manage deadlines with ease and communicate confidently with stakeholders. You’re customer-focused, adaptable and always looking for ways to improve processes while contributing positively to team goals.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounts administration, accounting, finance or related field
  • Minimum three (3) years’ workplace experience in accounts payable function in an environment with high volume and a wide variety of financial transactions
  • Experience in the AP month-end and year-end processes
