Administrator - Family Wellbeing Services


About the role – 4 days per week Max Term until 31st December 2026

The Family Wellbeing Service (FWS), funded by the Department of Social Services, delivers early intervention and short-term therapeutic support to children and young people (0–18) and their families across a broad Adelaide catchment. Known for its innovative, high-quality and evidence-based approach, FWS is committed to achieving meaningful outcomes through ongoing research, data and evaluation.

As the first point of contact, the Administrator plays a key role in keeping the service running smoothly managing day-to-day administration, supporting program delivery, and ensuring a responsive, professional experience for clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Monitor and maintain the FWS inbox and respond to queries, for new referrals, contact from external and internal stakeholders, invoices, or other relevant emails for action as per the workflow
  • Function as the first point of contact for Family Wellbeing Services
  • Contribute to the delivery of FWS related projects and programs as required

You take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, building positive connections, and supporting others with empathy and professionalism. With strong admin skills and great attention to detail, you’re motivated by knowing your work helps create better outcomes for children, young people and families when they need it most.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in Community Services or general administration, reporting and document management
  • A high level of computer literacy across the range of MS Office suite, including WORD, Outlook, and Excel and desirable for SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of people, both internal and external, from employees to executives
