Case Manager Tailored Learning
About the role – Part Time (Contract)
Join our Tailored Learning program in Salisbury as a Case Manager, supporting young people aged 15–17 to re-engage with education and achieve their SACE. You will manage a caseload of up to 25 young people, delivering regular one-on-one support and using flexible, outreach-based approaches to build trust, improve attendance, and strengthen wellbeing. Working closely with families, schools, and services, you’ll help young people develop life skills and create positive pathways into education, training, and employment.
This role is a 0.6 FTE, working Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30am–4:30pm, and based in Salisbury.
About you:
You’ll be a compassionate and resilient practitioner with strong communication and relationship-building skills, experienced in engaging young people facing complex barriers. You take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, are well organised, and confident managing a caseload independently while working collaboratively with families, schools, and services. You’re adaptable, proactive, and committed to helping young people re-engage with learning and build positive futures.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- VET Certificate IV or Diploma of Youth Work or Youth Justice
- Tertiary Qualifications relevant to the work such as Bachelor of Social Work, or Bachelor of Psychology
- Experience in case management and working with young people
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to apply a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach
