Case Manager - Wardli-ana
About the role – Maximum Term Full Time Contract until 30th June 2027
As a Case Manager within our Aboriginal-designed Wardli-ana model, you’ll work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members at risk of or experiencing homelessness, contributing to a truly restorative and culturally accountable approach.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- With an understanding of collective culture, build safe, trusting and consistent relationships with Aboriginal clients and their community members
- Seek opportunities to collaborate with partner Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations in the delivery of client work, ensuring client’s identity is honoured and supported
- Provide early intervention and assessment to navigate the homeless systems and applications
About you:
You’re a compassionate and community-minded professional who values cultural connection, collaboration, and inclusion. With experience in case management or community services, you build trust quickly, listen deeply, and empower others to achieve positive change. You’re driven by purpose and ready to be part of a team that’s working together to end homelessness in South Australia.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services (e.g., Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, Community Development) or Diploma in the related field of study
- Extensive relevant experience maybe considered in lieu of qualifications
- Experience in the following areas: Cultural Planning, Relationship Mapping, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Domestic and Family Violence, Aboriginal Health.
- Experience working with Aboriginal people and communities in the provision of support services
