Case Manager - Wardli-ana
About the role – Full Time Contract until 30th June 2027
This Case Manager role with Baptist Care SA is a meaningful opportunity to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples experiencing or at risk of homelessness through culturally informed, person-led care. You will build trusted relationships, provide tailored case management, connect clients to housing and essential services, and work collaboratively with partners to achieve sustainable outcomes. This is a hands-on role focused on outreach, advocacy, and creating pathways to long-term stability and wellbeing.
About you:
You are a compassionate and culturally aware professional with a strong commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You bring experience in case management and working with people experiencing homelessness, along with the ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and navigate complex service systems. You are resilient, adaptable, and confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong focus on advocacy, collaboration, and achieving positive, client-led outcomes.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Services (e.g. Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, Community Development) or Diploma in the related field of study.
- Extensive relevant experience maybe considered in lieu of qualifications.
- Experience working with Aboriginal people and communities in the provision of support services.
- Previous experience working with people experiencing homelessness.
- Experience in the following areas: Cultural Planning, Relationship Mapping, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health, Domestic and Family Violence, Aboriginal Health.
