Manager, Property, Fleet and Procurement
About the role – Permanent Fulltime
The Manager, Property, Fleet and Procurement (Manager, PFP) is responsible for the effective management of building assets, leased properties, fleet, ancillary assets, and procurement services to support Baptist Care SA's strategic goals.
Our property portfolio includes both residential and commercial properties, and adventure type facilities that support a diverse community service programs for people and families from all walks of life.
This role involves overseeing operational planning for property maintenance, fleet management, and capital project delivery, ensuring assets meet service delivery requirements and are compliant with relevant regulations.
The Manager PFP will lead the procurement function to ensure value for money outcomes and contractor management risks are well managed.
Additionally, the role involves developing a high-performing, service-oriented team focused on continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Manage the property portfolio to ensure maximised usage to benefit the service delivery requirements of each Baptist Care SA Pathway.
- Develop and maintain long term asset management plans and multi-year acquisition, disposal and maintenance scheduling for all properties and facilities under the control of Baptist Care SA
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for all matters related to Property, Fleet and Procurement.

You will also have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in property/facility management, project management, business or equivalent
- At least 10 years’ experience in managing property or facility management teams
- Experience in sourcing and negotiating contracts
- Demonstrated knowledge of key legislation and standards (Workplace Health and Safety, and other relevant building requirements)
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, including an ability to prepare high level reports to Executives

- A current and valid DHS: Child-Related Employment Screening/ WWCC
- A current and valid National Police Clearance
- Training – Child Safe Environments
- Ability and willingness to travel within South Australia as required
- Ability and willingness to working outside of normal business hours
- A valid full South Australian drivers’ license (C Class)
