About the Role:

The Information Systems team is a key enabler supporting BaptistCare's mission by delivering secure, reliable, and contemporary Digital and Data services across a cloud-only IT environment.

As Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our digital infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, cyber-security resilience, and high-quality IT support across the organisation.

Working closely with the Technology Services Manager, you will provide technical leadership, contribute to strategic initiatives, and support the ongoing digital transformation of the organisation.

This is not your typical corporate IT role — your work will directly support the staff delivering services that change lives across South Australia.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Providing second and third-level support for systems, applications, and cloud platforms
  • Supporting the design, delivery, and monitoring of IT infrastructure, networks, and telecommunications
  • Managing Microsoft Intune environments including device compliance, patching, and mobile application management

About You:

We’re looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Systems Administrator who thrives in modern cloud environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor within a close-knit Information Systems team that values innovation, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role (ideally 5+ years)
  • Degree qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, Azure, AWS, Cisco, Fortinet etc.) highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and Azure Entra ID
