Workforce Coordinator


About the role – Fulltime Max Term for 12 Months

Care Pathways provides 24/7 residential care for children and young people under guardianship or without a legal guardian, many of whom have experienced trauma and live with complex needs. The program focuses on creating safe, inclusive, and therapeutic environments that support young people to heal and thrive.

The Workforce Coordinator leads and supports staff, overseeing rostering and coordination to ensure high-quality care is delivered in line with Baptist Care SA’s practice framework.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Work in Collaboration with House Coordinators and Team Leaders to understand and effectively schedule in line with individual placement and client needs
  • Support in monitoring of mandatory training and certification requirements of staff to ensure delivery of care meeting with contractual compliance
  • Provide leadership, support, clear direction and mentoring to direct reports

About you:

You are a compassionate and organised leader with experience supporting vulnerable children and young people. You bring a calm, solutions-focused approach to coordinating teams, managing rosters, and responding to complex situations.

Committed to trauma-informed and culturally safe practice, you build strong relationships, support staff wellbeing, and foster a positive team culture. With strong attention to detail and administrative skills, you ensure services run smoothly and meet compliance requirements.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of Cert IV in Youth Work, Community Services, Child, Youth and Family Intervention, or Disability (in conjunction with relevant experience)
  • Previous experience in working with vulnerable and at-risk children and young people with complex needs and/or a disability
  • Experience in Scheduling and application of relevant award and industrial provision
